it was a privilege and pleasure to curate this edition of Workktown Words. I thoroughly enjoyed the surprises in my inbox this month. I had modern ghosts, ancient ghosts, ghosts that haunt and ghosts that protect. There were ghosts of the great and not so good and reflections of the ghosts we are yet to become.

I could say it was difficult to decide, but actually it was not. I simply chose those submissions that resonated and chimed with something in me. And with my grandson, Vukasin, who kindly second read and often second guessed my leanings.

Many thanks to all of you for this opportunity. I had the best time.
